The Food Pantry gives food once every 30 days to those families in need in the EAST Belleville area or Shiloh with a zip code of 62221.  Patrons need to bring an ID and proof of residency each time they wish to receive food.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

9 AM—11:45 AM

(except on Church Holidays)

 

The amount of food given depends on the size of family being serviced.  This is a list of some of the items given out on a regular basis:

 

Bread, margarine, ground beef/hot dogs,  tuna, cereal, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit and vegetables, Jello, soup, rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, dry milk, toilet paper, soap and assorted donated items.

 

All requests for food are cleared through Call For Help (a United Way Agency) and its central aid registry. 

 

During the period of January-December 2007 the combined Food Pantry provided food for FOUR days to 1,250 families, with a total of 2,857 people served 34,284 meals.
