Worship
Worship is central to the congregation's life. Laypersons of all ages assist the clergy in weekly celebrations of the Holy Communion. An adult choir, children's chorus and hand bell choir assist the congregation. A variety of musical settings of the liturgy are used. St. Mark Altar Guild St. Mark Altar Guild takes responsibility for caring for
church linens, vestments, communion and baptismal vessels, and the chancel
area of the church. They set the altar for communion each time there is
a service, and clean everything at the close of the service. They prepare
for baptisms and for funerals. They launder and press vestments as needed,
and participate with St. George's Altar Guild in cleaning the chancel
area and decorating at certain times of the church year. Nineteen members
participate in St. Mark's Altar Guild. It is open to both men and women
and welcomes anyone who would like to become involved. If interested,
